The Greenville Public Library is once again sponsoring reading programs for children and adults this summer.
Library Director Mike Westbrooks the Ice Cream For Books program was developed in an effort to bring kids into the library over the summer. Kids sign up and receive a few free gifts, then read books and when they finish a certain number of books, they add their name to a special ice cream display at the library and receive a coupon for a free ice cream treat from Greenville Dairy Queen.
