Memorial Day Flags In Greenville

A previous Memorial Day program at the Bond County Veterans' Memorial

AMVETS will be displaying the avenue of flags over the Memorial Day weekend in Greenville.

The group will also conduct their annual Memorial Day Flag Changing Ceremony at the Bond County Veterans Memorial on the courthouse square at 9 AM Monday, May 29. The flags will remain at half-staff till noon. AMVETS will mark the memorial bricks of all veterans who served during the WWI era as this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great War.

After the ceremony at the memorial they will proceed to Montrose Cemetery to join in the ceremony there.
