New Signs to Honor Service Members

Very soon utility poles along Harris Avenue in Greenville will have a new and a very patriotic look. The City, Johnson’s Signs and Designs and Military Mom’s have joined forces to salute Bond County service personal currently in uniform in all 4 branches of the Service. The new signs will soon be on display on the poles along Harris Avenue.

The names of over 50 current members of the Military will be displayed with a different name on each sign. Parents, family members and friends can be seen holding the news signs. Bill Walker helped design the new signs, and Dianah Kuhl-Troemel said that a yellow ribbon will be added below the signs as a service member is deployed.
