4-H Dog & Cat Shows

The Bond County 4-H Dog and Cat Show were held on June 17 at the Bond County Fairgrounds. 4-H members exhibiting in dog projects started the day at 9 a.m. with dog obedience and dog care.

Joely Craver and Melon won the Jr. Showmanship Class
Owen St. Peters and Candy had a great day. They placed first in their class in dog care, were Reserve Best in Show, and State Fair Delegates in Dog Obedience
Joshua Pruett and his dog Sugar. Josh and Sugar were the first place winners in their dog care class and won the Sr. Showmanship Class
Grace Sperandio and her dog Chloe. Grace and Chloe received the Best in Show Award and qualified for State in dog obedience.

The 4-H Cat Show followed the Dog Show. All exhibitors received A ratings.

The next 4-H Show will be the General Projects Show on July 1 at the First Christian Church. Judging will begin at 9 a.m. and the public is invited to come out and view the projects on display.
