Bicentennial Music Jam


If you are from Bond County and want to perform music at the Bicentennial celebration, you’ll have the chance.

Randy Alderman, music coordinator for the bicentennial, said after Head East finishes their set on Saturday night, July 1, a “Bond County Jam” will be held on the main stage. Any local musicians can come up and play or sing, with Swamp Weiss and the Swamp Daddies backing them up.

You can visit the Bicentennial website or Facebook page to find a form to fill out to reserve a spot.

Swamp Weiss and the Swamp Daddies will play at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 1 with Head East at 7 p.m. and the Bond County jam to follow. All events are free.
