Bicentennial Parade

A parade will be presented Sunday afternoon for the Bond County Bicentennial celebration.

Allan Davis, parade coordinator, explains that the 1-mile parade route will begin at Elm and College at 3 p.m. and is expected to include approximately 50 participants in total. Davis invites those still interested in being part of the parade to call him at 267-9110.

Once again, the parade begins at 3 p.m. Sunday in Greenville.

Some features of the parade will include the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile (above), the Planters Peanut Peanutmobile, and Louie and the Blues Crew from the St. Louis Blues (all pictured below)…
