Greenville Police May Activity Report


In the Greenville Police May activity report, there were two residential burglaries, two thefts from motor vehicles, one theft of items valued at less than $500.00, and one report of retail theft.

Officers worked four incidents involving juveniles and two offenses involving possession or delivery of illegal drugs. Police wrote ten citations for uninsured motorists, three for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, eight driver’s license violations, one seat belt violation, and eight speeding tickets. They made 48 traffic arrests and 26 criminal arrests.

Officers responded to 12 traffic accidents, three with injuries.

Local fire district personnel responded to 98 calls.

The animal control department received 49 calls.

The lake patrol issued three verbal warnings.
