Mulberry Grove Village Board Hears Plans For Gas Station

The Mulberry Grove Village Board heard plans from a local developer last week concerning construction of a new building on the sites of the former convenience store “The Corner” and “Kern’s Feeds.” The building might possibly house a variety of businesses along with a gas station. Plans are progressing and the prospect of a gas station in the Village of Mulberry Grove looks promising.

The rate Mulberry Grove pays for water is going up nine cents per thousand gallons. The board voted not to increase resident’s rates for water.

The board discussed setting a clean-up week for the village. The item was tabled until July to allow investigation of options.

Board members began work on the annual budget. Budget approval will be on the July agenda.
