Thunderstorms rolled through the WGEL listening area overnight Saturday into Sunday. Some much needed rain fell early Sunday morning, overrunning the streets in Greenville with rain at times.
The National Weather Service had all of our listening area under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the night, but the watch never turned to a warning.
Local law enforcement reported tree limbs and power lines down on Rt. 140 between 600 and 700 East. Numerous downed tree limbs were also observed around Bond County.
