The Greenville City Council has awarded street and parking lot projects to Christ Brothers of Lebanon.
City Manager Dave Willey said the Christ Brothers bid was $238,794, excluding any additional work that may be required for soft spots underneath the pavement. All streets will be resurfaced with hot mix asphalt. Parking lots will be sealed with lot sealer and restriped.

South Street, from Elm to Charles will be completely rebuilt, and the streets receiving new asphalt will be Oak, from First to Prairie; Butternut, from Ash to Killarney; Harris from Third to Fourth; Killarney, from Maple to Chestnut plus a downtown alley between College Avenue and Oak Street.
The street and parking lot projects will be done this summer.
Willey said the low bid was less than what had been budgeted. He reported if unspent budgeted funds remain, additional infrastructure needs will be reviewed.
