The Clinton County District Board is sponsoring a photo contest seeking photos showcasing the natural landscapes and unique events.
Photos will be used on tourism websites, county websites, and promotional materials. Wining photos will be printed and posted in the courthouse or other county office buildings.
Photos must be submitted between now and September 30 and must have been taken in Clinton County, Illinois. Photos must be in the categories of: places and recreation, agriculture, or nature. One person may enter up to three photos, one per category.

The Case-Halstead Library in Carlyle is offering two photography classes: “Going Manual with Your Camera” July 25, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and “Your Best Shot – How to Win Big in Photo Contests” August 7, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Call the library at 594-5210 to register.
