Janice Klotz, 69, of Sorento, passed away at 2:11 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.
Janice was born March 15, 1948 the daughter of Narvel and Joyce (Cruthis) Scott. She married Ron Klotz, July 20, 1968 at the Sorento Assembly of God.
Janice graduated from Greenville High School in 1966, and went on to obtain her cosmetology license. She operated her own beauty shop from her home for over twenty years. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. Janice was the best hostess, enjoying all holiday get togethers, cooking, and spending time with family. She was also known for her green thumb, tending to her many flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Janice is survived by her husband, Ron Klotz of Sorento; daughters, Veronica Ambuehl of Edwardsville, IL, and Erika Zaza of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Cale Ambuehl, Nadia Zaza, and Aidan Zaza; siblings, Bernadette Jones of Fairview Heights, IL and Roger Scott of Aurora, CO; one uncle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation & Funeral Ceremony: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home, 201 S. Main St., Sorento, IL 62086, with Pastor Jim Davis officiant.
Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento, IL.
