The Bond and Fayette County Farm Bureaus held their annual crop tours this week.
WGEL’s Farm Reporter Joe Doll said Bond County should average 153.8 bushels per acre in corn. Soybeans are at 49 bushels per acre. Last year’s numbers were 161 bushels for corn and 49.37 in soybeans.
In Fayette County, the crop tour showed averages of 156 bushels per acre in corn and 46 bushels per acre with beans.
