WGEL’s 2017 Great Celebrity Pie Auction is in the books and after a fantastic third day, our total for this year is $14,381.
Day One was $3,660
Day Two brought in $3,720
And Day Three had two different pie bakers who brought in over $2,200 each. The Day Three overall total was $7,001.
All of this money raised is being donated to the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation to assist local folks in their battle with cancer. Remember, the foundation has their annual Celebration of Life Festival this Saturday, opening at 4:30 PM at the American Farm Heritage Museum.
