Southern IL Earthquake

According to the US Geological Survey, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of southern Illinois early this (Tuesday) morning.

The quake occurred around 6:47 a.m. about seven miles northeast of Albion, Illinois. Albion is about 110 miles southeast of Greenville.

The earthquake had a depth of about nine miles. So far, no damage has been reported in that area.
