The Greenville High School Lady Comets’ varsity volleyball team grabbed its 19th win of the season Tuesday night before the home fans.
GHS beat Metro East Lutheran 25-7, 25-13.
Individual leaders were Allyson Haberer with 21 service points, 2 aces and 10 assists; Ally Cantrill with 9 service points and 7 kills, Lauren Meadows with 10 serve receptions and 11 passes, Nia Ephron with 2 blocks, and Nancy Fritzsche with 6 kills and 12 passes.
The Lady Comets are 19-7 for the season and play their final home match Thursday against Litchfield. It will be senior night.
The junior varsity Lady Comets stopped Metro East Lutheran 25-20 and 25-14.
Megan Hallemann had 6 kills, Rylee Pickett posted 14 passes and 5 service receptions, Madelyn Daiber totaled 14 service points, 3 aces and 5 service receptions; and Katie Hutchinson had 10 assists.
The local JV girls have a 12-4 record.
