Greenville residents might have noticed work being done recently to replace city sidewalks.
Public Works Department employees have been doing the work.
Public Works Director Bill Grider said crews were able to tackle the latest projects since road work has been completed in some areas. There are still several more to go.

Grider said if residents would like to have their sidewalks inspected, they can call the Public Works office and crews will have a look. There are criteria that must be met before public works staff can replace a sidewalk.
