The Greenville football Comets lost to Hillsboro Friday night at Don Stout field.
The final score was 34-14.
The Hiltoppers led 28-0 at halftime.
Both teams scored in the third quarter, the Comets first TD on a 35-yard run by Christian Moss.
The second touchdown was on a 28-yard pass from Wil Harnetiaux to Isaac Green.
Moss had 166 rushing yards in the game. Harnetiaux completed 13 of 30 passes for 112 yards, 1 for a touchdown, and 2 passes were intercepted.
Defensively, Tanner Tomaschke had nine tackles, Jack Woods 8 and Blake Doll 7.
Hillsboro totalled 170 yards rushing, 80 by Gunner Lentz. Dillon Civitate completed 6 of 9 passes for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Hillsboro is now 4 and 3 for the season. The Comets are 5 and 2 and play Friday at Gillespie.
