Class 3A volleyball regionals will begin on October 23 and the Greenville Lady Comets have been assigned to the Roxana Regional.
GHS is scheduled to play East Alton-Wood River about 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 23. In the first match at 5:30 p.m. Triad faces Bethalto.
Greenville is seeded fifth in the sectional bracket while East Alton-Wood River is 10th. The two teams end the regular season with a match at Wood River on October 17.
The winners of the October 23 regional matches advance to the semifinals. If Greenville wins, the Lady Comets will play Roxana at 6:30 p.m. on October 24.
The winner of the other match goes up against top-seeded Springfield Griffin.
The regional championship battle will be at 6 p.m., Thursday, October 26.
The champion moves on to the Effingham Sectional on October 30.
