Lady Comets Beat Wesclin

The varsity Lady Comets have a 17-7 record for the season after beating Wesclin Monday night in two games.

Before the home fans, the Greenville High School girls won both games by scores of 25-19.

Lauren Meadows totaled 14 service points, 11 serve receptions and 15 passes. Allyson Haberer had 11 assists, Nancy Fritzsche posted 10 kills, Kalie Meadows had six service points and three blocks, and Nia Ephron and Ally Cantrill had five kills apiece.

The GHS varsity girls are 6 and 1 in the South Central Conference and will host Hillsboro in a SCC match Thursday.

The junior varsity Lady Comets defeated Wesclin 25-7, 25-17. Katie Hutchinson had 11 service points and 11 assists. Megan Hallemann totaled seven kills.
