The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is enlisting the public’s help in locating a Bethalto woman who was reported missing Sunday night, November 12.
52 year old Deborah “Deb” L. Edminster, of Bethalto, IL is described as 5’ 5” tall and approximately 220 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair with dyed blond tips.
She was last seen at her home in the 200 block of Maple Drive in Bethalto around 9:45 AM Sunday. Edminster moved to Bethalto from the State of Washington in 2016 and reportedly has very few local friends. She last had phone known contact with an out of state associate last Friday. Edminster reportedly rarely leaves her home due to medical ailments. At this point authorities say there is no evidence to suggest foul play in Edminster’s disappearance, but that fact that she hasn’t been in contact with her friends and/or family creates cause for concern.

Edminster’s gold 2006 Jeep Cherokee, bearing Washington State Registration AWU1550 is also missing. She is not believed to have much money and there has been no activity on her cell phone since her disappearance.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Edminster, her vehicle, or who has information related to her disappearance is asked to contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at 692-4433.
