For several years, a highlight of the holiday season in Greenville has been the courthouse being outlined with Christmas lights.
The lighting of the courthouse will occur Saturday at 7 p.m.
Kaley Woker, director of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Greenville tourism, said the event will be on the north side of the courthouse. There will be food available and a wide variety of activities.

Saturday is Small Business Saturday which emphasizes the need for residents to shop locally.
Coming Home For Christmas begins at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Greenville High School auditorium. Cast members of the movie “A Christmas Story” will greet fans, and then the movie will be shown at 4 p.m. Actors appearing played the roles of Grover Dill, Scut Farkus, Flick and the evil elves.
A lighted Christmas parade will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Greenville Elementary School lot, go south on Hena Street to College Avenue, then west to the downtown square.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride in the parade and then will be at their house north of the courthouse.
