After a close first half, the Greenville Lady Comets basketball team was unable to keep up with Lebanon Saturday afternoon in the championship game of the Columbia Classic.
Lebanon claimed the title by beating Greenville High 64 to 42.
The score was tied at 11 after the first quarter and Lebanon led 25-22 at halftime. The Greyhounds outscored Greenville 26 to 7 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
Leading scorer for the Lady Comets was Nancy Fritzsche with 12 points.
The Lady Comets finished second in the tournament, winning 2 of 3 games.
Their first home game is Monday against Roxana.
