Greenville is hosting an IESA Class 3A 8th grade Regional boy’s regional basketball tournament.
The Bluejays are seeded number one with Hillsboro the second seed. Both teams get first round byes.
The regional action begins Saturday in the Greenville Junior High gymnasium with Gillespie against Litchfield at 10 a.m. followed by Vandalia against Pana.
Greenville will play the winner of the Gillespie-Litchfield game at 6 p.m. Monday, and Hillsboro plays about 7 p.m. Monday against the winner of the Vandalia-Pana game.
The regional championship game is at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 1 at Greenville.
