Hospital Auxiliary Makes Annual Donation


The HSHS Holy Family Hospital Auxiliary presented another large donation to the hospital at its annual meeting Monday night.

While the hospital board was in session, auxiliary members gave the board and Hospital president and CEO Brian Nall a ceremonial check for $380,000.

During the Auxiliary’s meeting, led by President Jane Cornelius, the members approved the donation.

Nall and the board members expressed their gratitude for the donation. Nall said the money will be used to help with the cost of a new CT machine, other life safety improvements on the hospital campus, work at the Thrift Shop, and a donation toward the completion of the hospital chapel.

The new CT is being installed this week, according to Nall who also said the life safety work at the facility is an expensive project.

Since the auxiliary was formed in the late 1950s, the group has donated $6,383,016 to the hospital. The money is raised by volunteers through various activities.
