KC Board Hires Greenville Director, Extends Farm Bureau Contract

At the recent Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees meeting, Sandi Laurent of Greenville was approved as the new Director of the KC Greenville Education Center. Laurent replaces Jerri Davenport, who retired last fall after 15 years of service in that position.

The board also announced KC will continue its operation of the Brownstown Research Station as part of its agriculture program. The College Board and Fayette County Farm Bureau signed a three year lease for the station.

Trustees approved a resolution authorizing architects to proceed with documents and the bidding process to replace heating and cooling rooftop units and replace roofs on the Fine Arts, Cafeteria/Culinary Arts kitchen, student center, and the Jane Knight Auditorium.
