Aces Win First Game In Regional

The Mulberry Grove Aces won their first game in the Windsor Class 1A Regional Tuesday night.

Erupting for 31 points in the first quarter, the Aces never trailed and beat Chrisman 80 to 56.

Mulberry Grove sank 14 three-pointers in the game. Joey Linnabary poured in 29 points, with 7 three-pointers. Courtlyn Latham had a 27-point night with 5 threes.

The Aces are 19 and 9 for the season and play in the regional semifinals at Windsor tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30 p.m. They play Bethany, which defeated Hume Shiloh 56 to 32 Tuesday night.

The winners of tonight’s games advance to the regional championship game at 7 p.m. Friday.
