BCSWCD Cover Crop Workshop


The Bond County Soil & Water Conservation District will host a Cover Crop Management Workshop Tuesday, March 20 from 9:30 AM to 2 PM in the Greenville First Christian Church Family Life Center.

Bond County Soil & Water Conservation District Conservation Associate Roger Marcoot said a wide variety of information will be presented.

He said the goal of the program is to help people think about how they can use cover crops as part of their management system.

Specific topics to be covered include Cover Crop Management, Chemical Program Considerations, Nutrient Loss Strategy, and Financial Assistance Programs. There will be a Producer Panel and time for questions. Lunch will be served. Reservations are required by Friday, March 16.
