Last fall, 16 third through fifth graders at Greenville Elementary School were sworn in by Circuit Judge John Knight as the first-ever Character Council at GES.
Since that time, those students have been hard at work on several projects, including an anti-bullying presentation, completely of their own creation.
The Character Council presented that program to their fellow GES students Monday morning.
They shared information on how to know if you’re being a bully, what to do if you are bullied, and encouraged all students to stand together and end bullying.
