GJHS Scholastic Bowl Takes Tenth

The Greenville Junior High Scholastic Bowl team competed at the Mater Dei tournament on February 3. A 2-and-3 record in pool play in the morning placed the Jays tenth out of 28 teams which qualified them for the Consolation bracket in the afternoon.
Greenville defeated Highland St. Paul, Nashville, and Wesclin in winning the Consolation Championship.

Wesley Sussenbach and Courtney Evans also earned Second Team All-Tournament honors.

In regular season play, the Jays are 3-1 having defeated Carlyle, Litchfield, and Hillsboro, and losing to Highland.
