Bond County EMS took two children to the hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle accident Sunday, at 8:59 a.m.
According to the accident report, Arnold J. Sahs, age 30, of Vandalia, driving a Ford pickup, stopped at the stop sign at Harris Avenue and Fourth Street and proceeded west through the intersection. A car driven by Joseph R. Hentz, age 36, of Greenville, was northbound on Fourth Street and the two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
Bond County EMS took two children, passengers in the Hentz car, to HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.
Greenville Police cited Sahs for alleged failure to yield at an intersection.
