Bond County Clerk Meg Sybert is trying out a new type of voting booth for elections.
She said the old single–person booths have been used in the county many years and need to be replaced.
She has one sample of a round booth that has four private stations to cast votes. Sybert said the new booth is very durable and easy to store.
She is hoping to receive comments from those using the booth for early and grace voting in the primary. Sybert said she doesn’t want to purchase booths for each precinct if the public doesn’t like them.
