The Greenville City Council has approved a revolving loan for the expansion of the Jack Flash Tobacco building, formerly known as Tobacco Unlimited.
The loan of $125,000 will be for 10 years with a fixed interest rate of three percent.
The city’s revolving loan committee reviewed the request and recommended the council approve it.
The new owner is Wortman Holdings LLC.
The business is located on south Illinois Rt. 127 between Route 40 and Interstate 70.
The expansion work has been underway a few months.
It will allow the business to increase package liquor sales and provide additional storage of inventory. Jack Flash Tobacco will also add gaming machines and already has a license for them.
