Greenville Police are investigating a security concern that was reported at Greenville Junior High Thursday morning.
Unit 2 School Superintendent told WGEL some concerns were expressed over some remarks a student had made. Olson said administrators immediately addressed the situation and involved local police in the investigation. He emphasized that no students were in any danger.

In an email to district parents, Superintendent Wes Olson said the situation may involve student discipline and, therefore, specific details cannot be shared.

Greenville Police Chief Johnny Runyon told WGEL their investigation is ongoing and reiterated that at no time were any students in danger.
