Youth Learn Knitting Skills In 4-H Club

The Nifty Knitters 4-H knitting club is open to all area youth between the ages of 8 and 18. The group meets the first and third Thursday of each month at the Germantown Public Library from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Beginners are welcome, as the group works on basic knitting skills for those just starting out.

Advance registration isn’t required, but participants will need to bring a few supplies. They will need size 8/9 short knitting needles, scissors, and some practice yarn. For more information, contact the Illinois Extension Office at 618-526-4551.
