It was announced this week that Brad Turner, Mulberry Grove Unit 1 School Superintendent, will leave his position this summer to take a similar job in Nashville, IL.
In addition to his superintendent position, Turner also serves as the co-principal of Mulberry Grove Junior & Senior High Schools. He shares those duties with Bobby Koontz.
Koontz told WGEL his job is the first administrative position he’s held and said Turner has been a great resource for learning the ins and outs of the job. He said it would be hard to find someone who worked harder than Turner.

Koontz said it is unclear at this point how the principal’s responsibilities will be affected by Turner’s departure.
Brad Turner’s last day in Mulberry Grove will be June 30 and he’ll start his new position as the Nashville High School District Superintendent July 1.
