The Greenville College men’s basketball team is heading to the NCAA Division III national tournament.
They won the regular season St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship plus the conference tournament and enter the national tourney with a 19 and 8 record.
They Panthers have been assigned to the Augustana Regional and will play Friday at 7:30 p.m. against the host school.
Augustana, which finished second in the nation last year, is 22 and 5.
The other opening round game will be Augsburg against Hope. The winners Friday night play Saturday night for the right to advance to the next round.
