Bond County Day Of Prayer Event

The National Day of Prayer was last Thursday, and a service was held in Greenville by the Bond County Ministerial Alliance.

The event was planned to be outside the county courthouse, but was moved to the First United Methodist Church due to rain.

Approximate 80 people attended.

Prayers were offered for churches, local, state and national government; education, and the family.

Matt Mendenhall said “family” means something different to everyone, but all families need to be lifted up and unified.
