Greenville Senior Tyler Bryant ended his high school track career by earning a medal at the Class 2A state meet in Charleston.
Bryant made it through the discus preliminaries to advance to the finals on Saturday. He finished sixth in the finals competition.
On both days, his best discus throw was 154 feet, 9 inches.
Two other Greenville High athletes were at the state meet. Isaac Green participated in the long jump. Jonathan Hall ran the 800 meter run, recording a personal best time of 2 minutes 2 point 99 seconds (2:02.99).
