The First National Bank recently donated money to the Pocahontas Elementary to benefit the school library. Librarian Tina Tompkins purchased new junior high level books with the donation.

John Goldsmith, FNB Marketing Director, said the donation came after a conversation with Pocahontas Principal Jason Rakers. “We were looking for some ways to encourage reading and discovered from Jason the needs the library had,” Goldsmith explained.
