The student summer reading program at the Greenville Public Library has been very successful for several years.
Sign up for this year’s program begins June 1.
Jo Keillor, library director, said there will be a special presentation from a Native American children’s book author on that day. Under the summer program, kid can earn a DQ Dilly Bar every week based on how many books they read.

An adult summer reading program will also be offered by the library.
Readers turn in their information after reading a book, and once a month there will be a drawing for a coffee mug and a book bag.
At the end of the program, two Kindle Fire tablets will be given away.
The children and adult summer reading programs go from June 1 to August 1.
