It was recently announced that Dr. Norm Hall has been appointed the new president at Simpson University in Redding, California.
Hall has served in various positions at Greenville University over the past 20 years.
WGEL talked with him after he accepted the new position.
Hall praised Greenville University. He said it is a first-rate university with top faculty.

Hall said it will be difficult to leave Greenville. He said the schools are amazing and praised the park district events. He said he’s blessed to have been a part of the town and hopes to stay connected to friends here.

Simpson University has just under 1,000 students in addition to a seminary.
Hall said he is ready for the challenge of being a university president in California.
