Parents of Bond County Unit 2 students will be paying $5 more for book rental next school year.
Monday night, the Unit 2 school board voted to increase the rental fees.
It was reported a large amount of positive feedback was received last year for online registration. It will be offered again for 2018-19, and the fee increase will be used to help offset administrative costs associated with the online program.
The book rental fees are going from $100 to $105 at the high school, and from $75 to $80 at the Pocahontas, Sorento, Greenville Elementary and Greenville Junior High schools.
All other registration and class/athletics fees will remain the same.
