The Bond County Unit 2 Board of Education met Monday and took action on several personnel matters.
Resignations were accepted from Catherine Free, as a high school English teacher, Shani Golovay as a teacher’s aide at Greenville Elementary School, and Kimberly Mince as an infant toddler specialist in the Project Parenting Program.
Mary Stice will retire as a high school business teacher at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, and Jane Worstell’s retirement as a special education aide at Sorento School is effective this July 31.
Laura Pierce has been hired in a part-time clerical support position in the Prevention Initiative Program.
High school summer school staff was hired. The instructors include Anne Burton in math, Lyndsey Beckham in English, Joe Alstat and Alison Hall in classroom driver’s education, and Alstat, Todd Cantrill, Todd Hutchinson and Katie Perkins for behind-the-wheel driver’s education.
Hired as Kindergarten Readiness Program summer school employees were Administrator Scott Pasley, Stephanie Balducci, Lynn Brandmeyer, Nichole Spurgeon, Sarah Elliott, Rachelle Hosick, Megan Isringhausen, Darlene Johnson, Leigh Ann Long, Heather Summers, Natalie Balducci, Cory Walter, Brianna Wade and Rebecca Laesch.
Two persons were hired as summer maintenance employees, Michael Voyles and Lucas Carlson.
