City Grant, Loan Approved For Kahuna’s

Pictured here are the two lots, west of Kahuna's Burgers & More in Greenville, which are to be purchased by the restaurant.

The Greenville City Council has unanimously approved a grant and loan to Kahuna’s Burgers and More, owned by Larry and Darla Deiters.

The Deiters are buying two vacant lots west of the business, which at one time was the site of the Dierkes Zephyr Service Station.

Greenville City Manager Dave Willey explained the TIF grant in the amount of $38,500 will be used to help offset the property cost of $78,500. The lots will be repaved and landscaped and will provide more parking and room for expansion in the future.
