A three-day Fellowship of Christian Athletes sports camp concluded Friday at the Greenville Junior High and high school complex.
Over 150 boys and girls participated, with volunteer coaches leading them.
Luke Hohlt directed the camp. He said it’s a big undertaking, but it’s been a blessing to have had the camp for over 15 years. The program was started by Robert “Ish” Smith, of Greenville. 250 people are involved in total, including helpers and volunteers.
Students attend clinics each day for two sports of their choice. Hohlt said it’s good to teach kids skills in sports and that they can honor God in how they compete.
