The Fourth Fest Firecracker 4K road run in Greenville on Saturday morning has been cancelled.
The reason is the lack of participants.
It was to be the first event at Saturday’s Fourth Fest in downtown Greenville.
A local superheroes parade will open the Fourth Fest at 1:30 p.m. to be followed with a day of music featuring the Greenville Municipal Band at 3, the Chapman Brothers at 4, the Scott Air Force Base group Hot Brass at 5:30, the Kentucky Headhunters at 7:30, fireworks at 9:30 and then Silver Bullet, a Bob Seger tribute band.
