Greenville Police Department May Activities Report


In the May activities report from the Greenville Police Department, officers investigated one battery case.

There was one burglary, one theft from a motor vehicle, four thefts of items valued at more than $500.00, six thefts of items valued at less than $500.00, three incidents of retail theft, and one report of criminal damage to property.

Officers investigated one report of criminal trespass, one incident involving juveniles, and one of possession or delivery of illegal drugs.

Police wrote two uninsured motorist citations, one for driving under the influence, 16 for driver’s license infractions, 8 citations for seat belt or child restraint violations, and 11 speeding tickets.

They responded to 14 traffic accidents, two with injuries.

Local fire district personnel responded to 119 calls.

The lake patrol issued 20 verbal warnings.
