During the Fourth Fest celebration in downtown Greenville on June 30, a special presentation, in honor of Illinois’ 200th anniversary, will take place at the Bond County Courthouse.
Rex Catron, co-chair of the Fourth Fest Committee, said the Illinois Judges Association and Illinois Bar Association have provided a framed Lincoln portrait to every county in the state.
Catron said the courthouse will be open around 2:30 Saturday afternoon for people to look at the portrait in the courthouse. A special presentation will be held at 2:45.
