New Police Officer In Greenville

A new full-time police officer was sworn in last week on the Greenville Police Department.

Casey Brown of Greenville has joined the force, filling the position vacated by Ryan Paine.

Brown has been a part-time officer for Greenville, Coffeen and Donnellson, in addition to a part-time deputy and jail correctional officer with the Bond County Sheriff’s Department.

Casey Brown graduated from Greenville High School in 2012, and earned an associate degree in criminal justice at Kaskaskia College. He is the son of Arvilla and Scott Brown, and is married to the former Carlee Braye.

He told WGEL he is excited about his new law enforcement opportunity.
